You're So Fine(You Could Be AI)

We've become so accustomed to artificial perfection that the real thing can almost seem suspicious. I liked the idea of turning that into a slightly absurd love song. Someone walks into a room, and suddenly the narrator needs to question everything he's learned about what's real. Including the possibility that someone like her might actually want him.

Spent all year Learning how Not to fall for what looks perfect now Every picture Every promise Every version in between Then you walked in A glitch in the machine Hold up No way No way you're real Or maybe I forgot How to tell what's real You're so fine (You could be AI) Had to check twice, thought my phone served another lie You're so fine (You could be AI) You're so fine (You could be AI) Everybody looking Everybody wondering why You're so fine (You could be AI) Everybody wants your time Everybody knows your face I was halfway out the door Before you asked me mine Still don't know What you see But I like the way you look back at me Hold up No way No way you're real Or maybe I forgot How to tell what's real You're so fine (You could be AI) Had to check twice, thought my phone served another lie You're so fine (You could be AI) You're so fine (You could be AI) Everybody looking Everybody wondering why You're so fine (You could be AI) Is it Photoshop? No Is it CGI? No Is it magic? Maybe Is it destiny? Baby! Maybe all this time I got used to the fake Maybe all this time That was my mistake You're so fine You're so fine You're so fine (You could be AI) You're so fine You're so fine You're so fine (You could be AI) You're so fine (You could be AI) Had to check twice, thought my phone served another lie You're so fine (You could be AI) But somehow... You're mine You're mine You're mine Maybe that's the part I still can't verify You're so fine... But you're mine
